We are fluids, a 100% independent, non-profit organization specializing in global weather reporting through our web app at fluids.ai. Our mission is to provide unbiased, accurate, and publicly accessible weather information.
Scope of Work:
Research: Utilize primary, publicly available sources to create an in-depth article on Hurricane Ophelia.
Writing: The article will be published through a Wordpress instance. It should be a minimum of 1500 words, SEO-optimized, and written in a journalistic style.
Art Creation: Generate accompanying art through Midjourney, a generative Image AI. Access to this tool will be provided.
Required Skills:
Experience in journalistic writing
Familiarity with weather phenomena, specifically hurricanes
Basic knowledge of SEO
Wordpress proficiency
Bonus: Previous experience with AI-generated art
Submission Guidelines:
Resume and/or portfolio
A brief cover letter explaining your interest in the project
Writing samples, preferably related to weather reporting or science journalism
Project Duration: 2 weeks from the start date
Budget: Negotiable
