3to7is recommended.Experimenting within this range is key to finding the perfect balance for your idea.

Sampler & Steps: Your choice of sampler will influence the final texture of the image.
Euler a: Use this for a slightly softer, more painterly and artistic result. It's excellent for a stylized finish that is less hyper-realistic. (Recommended: 20-30 steps).
DPM++ 2M Karras: Use this when you want maximum sharpness and detail. It excels at rendering the crisp, glossy "chrome" finish and complex "ornate" patterns.
