Frame 11 Text: “Hmmm,” Pelle thinks, “Maybe I need to try a different strategy.” Frame 12 Text: Pelle builds a strange apparatus out of straws and tape to protect the balloon from his quills. Frame 13 Text: Pelle blows up a yellow balloon with his apparatus. "This has to work!" Frame 14 Text: He starts to tie the balloon again. No quills in sight. Frame 15 Text: "Almost there!" But wait... SPLAT! The balloon finally meets a quill. Frame 16 Text: Pelle is frustrated. “Oh, why do I have to have quills?!” he yells in frustration. Frame 17 Text: But he doesn't give up. "Third time’s the charm!" says Pelle with a smile. Frame 18 Text: Pelle takes out a small, child-safe balloon. "This one HAS to hold!" Frame 19 Text: Pelle blows up the balloon gently. The blue balloon stands against all odds. Frame 20 Text: "Yes! I did it!" Jubilant, Pelle dances around with the balloon, but... Frame 21 Text: He trips on a rock and tumbles to the ground. "Uh-oh!" Frame 22 Text: SPLAT! The balloon pops once again. Pelle lies on the ground, bewildered. Frame 23 Text: "Maybe... Balloons just aren't my thing," says Pelle, tired but not defeated.
