Recommended 4 to 8 steps. Photorealistic images work better with 8 steps while artsy images benefit from lower steps. If textures look overworked, like skin, try lowering steps.

For using UNET ONLY versions, you need to have the TEXT ENCODERS and VAE.

Place the model in "models/unet", both text encoders in "models/clip" and vae in "models/vae" folder. In comfy, use the standard flux workflow or add 'Load Diffusion Model', 'DualClipLoader' and 'Load VAE' nodes to replace the checkpoint loader and complete the setup.
