I was the sly fox feigning death to catch me a buzzard. As Heck and Cordonnier knew I was a sinner trapper. And only I defined sin. I saw an Ostrich saving its young with the blood of an Asp and the Giant Snails of Calonak, a dragon and a Kurnai, a Yenjin, the impression made by a body lifted from the sand, blinding a man by throwing the dried cones of casuarina quadrivalvis into his eyes just as black flowers grow in my eyes and the smoke of a dead man carries his being and I knew how the bukin of the Woiwurong secretly drew the fat from their dead to be eaten and to give them strength and the Wirajuri would twitch when a bukin was fat hunting. Fat was always taken from the right side so I have learned to fear the yulo, charcoal and magic fire. Myself, I have a lesser magic and can only kill myself but maybe just maybe partake of my own fat before...a little plan I will keep secret. Well, who wouldn't?
