Description:
We are seeking a skilled developer with experience in API integration to create a Proof of Concept (POC) for "Charter Jets," a company specializing in non-regular charter flights. Our goal is to demonstrate how automation and AI can revolutionize our current manual processes, enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Understand and analyze the current manual processes of flight booking, scheduling, pricing, and customer communication as outlined in our background information.
- Work with the Avinode API (https://developer.avinodegroup.com/docs/introduction) to automate these processes, focusing on price calculation, contract/memo/billing preparation and delivery to clients, schedule uploading to Leon.aero and Avinode platforms, and client communication.
- Develop a POC that demonstrates the feasibility and benefits of automating these processes, ensuring it can handle unique and variable charter flight requests effectively.
- Collaborate with our team to understand specific requirements and integrate feedback throughout the development process.
Requirements:
- Proven experience with API integration, particularly with complex systems such as Avinode.
- Strong programming skills in relevant languages and frameworks.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into functional technical specifications.
- Knowledge of the aviation industry, especially charter flight operations, is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Project Goals:
- Automate manual processes related to charter flight organization, including pricing, customer communication, contract preparation, and schedule management.
- Create a scalable solution that can adapt to the unique and varying demands of charter flights.
- Provide a clear demonstration of how automation and AI can improve operational efficiency and client service in the aviation charter industry.
