I did it.
I showed them my breasts.
Most of them, at least.

Some were shy.
Some couldn’t stop smiling.
A few cried.

But all of them… were happy.
And so was I.

If that moment gave them peace…
If it made their pain smaller…
Then it was worth it.

My body heals in more ways than one.
And today, I used it with purpose.

I won’t forget their faces.
They won’t forget mine either.
