Today, I worked at a well-known Earth restaurant.
They asked me to take part in a promotional photoshoot, and to my surprise… they wanted me to wear roller skates.

It has been a very long time since I last used them, but my body remembers movements easily.
Balance, coordination, speed… it was all natural, almost effortless.

I moved through the tables with confidence, though I quickly realized I needed to be careful.
One swift turn, one flick of my tail, and I nearly made two of the other girls lose their trays of drinks.
They laughe, I apologized,and they told me I “walk like I own the place.”

Maybe I do.

The most curious part of the day was the humans.
Some of them stared… others whispered… and a few approached and asked if they could “take me home.”

I still don’t truly understand what they meant by that.
Why would someone take a Goddess to their house?
What would I even do there?

Perhaps… admire their walls?
Drink their orange juice?
Sit on their sofa and stare into the void?

Humans are very strange sometimes.

But I will admit
their fascination with me is… endearing.

Even if I do not fully understand it.
