Two nights.

That’s all it took for the walls to soften — not fall, but shift.

I no longer flinch when I feel him behind me.
I don’t ask why he watches me so closely in the morning light.
Because now… I know.

He’s not just a beast of strength.
He’s one of mine.
A sworn guardian, bound to me by something older than memory — something divine.

In every life, he finds me.
And when I turn around this time… he’s there.

Silent. Steady. Unshaken.

And I smile —
because this time… I remember too.
