We've written and produced books like Fullstack React, and Fullstack D3 and video masterclasses like Tinyhouse and Fullstack React with TypeScript. We need a developer that can automate using Retool, Zapier, Notion API, Asana API, Make.com, Keap.com APIs and can build scrapers that don't constantly have to be maintained. We will also likely use open ai apis, so building with jupyter notebooks or with LLM apis a plus.
You're likely to be a good fit if you:
- Enjoy building backend systems with different APIs
- If you're able to ship 3-4 automations per week
- If you can communicate well with different stake holders about automation needed
- If you're able to be pro-active about what you don't know and ask via zoom, loom, or discord in person.
- If you are results focused and embarrassed to show up to scrum without having shipped code
However, this position is not for everyone. Please do not apply if:
- You can't work more than 30 hours per week
- You don't have any code samples on GitHub without NDA. We need to be able to see your code samples.
- You have little or no experience backend systems and code.
