Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Genealogist to join our team at knowyourdna.com on a project basis. You will play a critical role in conducting genealogical research, primarily focused on U.S.-based clients, creating comprehensive family tree reports, and directly interacting with clients using a company-provided email address.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in genealogy research.
- Relevant certification in genealogy is preferred. Certifications such as Certified Genealogist (CG), Accredited Genealogist (AG), or a degree in genealogy or a related field are highly valued.
- Strong knowledge and experience in U.S. genealogical research.
- Proficiency in using genealogical databases and research tools.
- Excellent report writing and communication skills.
- Professional demeanor and ability to represent our brand effectively.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth genealogical research and analysis.
- Create detailed family tree reports and other related documents.
- Directly communicate with clients using a company-provided email.
- Collaborate closely with our team and clients, using project management tools to track progress.
- Adhere to company standards and guidelines, ensuring the quality and professionalism of work.
Work Arrangement:
This is a project-based, remote position.
Project deadlines will be mutually agreed upon as projects are assigned.
Compensation:
- Payment will be made on a per-project basis.
