Responsibilities:
1. Develop, implement, and evaluate advanced statistical models and approaches for application in the real estate industry.
2. Design, build, test, and maintain robust data architectures, including databases and large-scale data processing systems.
3. Manage and analyze big data, construct data models, and perform predictive and prescriptive data analyses.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.
5. Transform complex data into a more usable state using appropriate methods.
6. Communicate complex quantitative analysis in a clear, precise, and actionable manner.
7. Ensure systems meet business requirements and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
1. Master's degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Math, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in data science and data engineering roles, specifically in the real estate sector.
3. Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, or similar tools.
4. Experience with machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling techniques, and A/B testing.
5. Familiarity with big data tools: Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.
6. Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases, including Postgres and Cassandra.
7. Proficiency in using business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau) and data frameworks.
8. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
