Upwork is hiring a AI Machine Learning Platform to write draft educational content

Background

I am an educational content developer in Australia, working primarily in the fields of Business, Leadership and Project Management. I work with several content developers and subject matter experts to provide bespoke course content and assessments to universities and training organisations.

Current Process

We have been using Chat GPT to assist in the process of building educational course content and assessments, based on client requirements. This can include creating content contextualised to a particular industry (i.e. construction), or a particular methodology (i.e. Project Management content based on Prince2 or Agile).

What is the Problem with this Process?

While this process saves us time (over traditional methods) quality content creators are limited in their capacity and take some time to produce content and assessments (this process can still take months).

What we want to achieve

We want to develop a web-based system that can generate the course content in a .docx output. The inputs will include prompts such as Learning Objectives, Performance Criteria, Assessment Requirements and contextualization information (i.e. industry, or specialization, such as rewriting a project management course on Agile principles rather than PMBOK).

This will allow us to significantly speed up the development process and to move to a streamlined model where Subject Matter Experts complete material review prior to distribution to clients. It is important that the system is web-based as our workforce is remote working and accessibility is key to success.

There is a view to expand the capabilities of the system in future builds, however the course content is the backbone of any educational course and needs to be perfected (i.e. create PowerPoint Presentations, assessments etc).

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate must have demonstrated experience with AI and Chat integration. Key responsibilities will include platform development, coding and troubleshooting. Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills are essential for success in this position. They should have demonstrated experience in developing scalable AI and Machine Learning systems.
