Yofi is an identity platform that protects profits, ensures data integrity, and empowers decisions for genuine customers by eliminating bad actors. We identify and prevent individuals, such as serial returners, bots, and resellers, from taking advantage of customer friendly policies costing brands ~3-5% of profits and skewing all downstream data.
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Data Scientist to join our team at Yofi. As a Data Scientist at Yofi, you will investigate and integrate insights into our machine learning models and help scale out use cases for our core data products. You will work closely with our engineering and product teams to design and deploy scalable and robust machine learning solutions to solve complex business problems.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement advanced algorithms for feature engineering and data mining, enhancing the platform's ability to identify and mitigate fraudulent activities.
- Design, build, and maintain recommendation systems that improve user experience and decision-making processes for genuine customers.
- Analyze large and complex data sets to derive actionable insights and develop predictive models that contribute to the platform's efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data science solutions into the overall product and provide data-driven recommendations for product enhancements.
- Stay ahead of the latest trends and technologies in data science, machine learning, and AI to continually innovate and improve Yofi AI's offerings.
Key Requirements:
- Experience deploying machine learning models to production in the cloud.
- Proven expertise in feature engineering, data mining, and the development of recommendation systems.
- Strong experience in handling and analyzing big data sets.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and proficient with data science and machine learning tools and libraries.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights.
Nice to Have:
- Prior experience in fraud detection, particularly in the e-commerce sector.
- Experience with handling big data technologies and platforms.
- Experience with cloud services (GCP, AWS, Azure - GCP preferred)
