We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer with at least 5 years of experience in quality assurance, specializing in testing web and mobile applications across diverse screen sizes and web browsers. The ideal candidate will possess a robust technical background, allowing them to pinpoint issues spanning front-end, back-end, and database layers, and discern their severity and priority. This position involves direct client interaction, necessitating superb communication abilities.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough testing of web and mobile applications across various screen sizes and web browsers to uphold the highest quality standards.
- Participate in client meetings to gather requirements, offer testing insights, and address quality concerns as needed.
- Demonstrate strong technical expertise to identify issues across application layers (front-end, back-end, database) and accurately assess their severity and priority.
- Utilize Postman for API testing, ensuring functionality, reliability, performance, and security standards are met across all endpoints.
- Develop comprehensive test plans, scenarios, and cases to steer the testing process and ensure thorough coverage.
- Proficient with issue tracking and project management, with a solid grasp of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Promote best practices in quality assurance throughout the development lifecycle, contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of QA testing experience, with a proven track record of testing web and mobile applications.
- Deep understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience in API testing using Postman and crafting detailed test documentation (test plans, test cases, test scenarios).
