Job Description:
We are seeking a results-driven DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on security protocols, extensive experience with Docker, Nginx, and an MSP background. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing Azure server environments using Kubernetes, PHP, and MySQL. This role involves a combination of development and operational responsibilities, where the candidate will play a crucial role in the deployment, scalability, and reliability of our applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage a robust Azure server environment using Kubernetes, incorporating security protocols.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient and reliable deployment of PHP-based applications, leveraging 10+ years of IT experience.
Configure and manage MySQL databases, ensuring high performance and implementing recent DevOps practices.
Collaborate closely with development teams to integrate systems seamlessly and ensure a smooth and efficient development and deployment process.
Communicate with clients, attend client meetings, and demonstrate the ability to manage projects independently.
Troubleshoot any deployment issues, preferably by using a generative AI tool like ChatGPT.
Automate deployment, scaling, and management processes using infrastructure as code (IaC) principles, drawing on 3+ years of recent DevOps experience.
Monitor system performance, proactively identify issues, and implement solutions, utilizing Linux expertise.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, implementing best practices in DevOps processes.
Document all processes and ensure industry best practices are implemented, reflecting the candidate's attention to detail.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3+ years of recent DevOps experience, with a strong focus on Azure, Kubernetes, and Docker.
Minimum of 10+ years of experience in the IT Industry
Minimum of 3+ years of experience with an MSP company
Proficient in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or similar, reflecting expertise in automation.
Experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes and Docker.
Strong understanding of cloud services, preferably Microsoft Azure.
In-depth knowledge of PHP (Laravel) development and web server and database management, particularly Nginx and MySQL.
Familiarity with source control tools like Git.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
