Brief:
I am looking for a CAD designer to complete two CAD drawings:
1) Draft for review to be completed by 3pm Thursday 25th January (London time).
2) Final to be completed by 12pm Friday 26th January (London time).
CAD drawings required:
Back panels for 2 steel benches.
We require our sketches to be formatted and the floral components developed using CAD to enable them to be manufactured.
We need to be clear and understand which parts of the CAD drawing are metal and which parts are space.
Both panels will have the same dimensions.
The dimensions are as follows:
CAD design for steel panel 1500mm x 450mm
Noting that:
any gap less than 6mm will fill up
any metal 2.5-3mm wide will burn up
lettering should be 50mm minimum
The 450mm is without the text (Gorgie/Dalry); this will stick out the top as a relief.
We would like a text arch saying 'Dalry' with the font suggested (see image attached). This will be separate to the panel and stick out the top of the bench.
We would like a text arch saying 'Gorgie' with the same font, applied in the same way as the Dalry text.
Please see below for our sketches of the 2 back panels and sample bench design from manufacturer.
Sample bench design from manufacturer: to the left of the back panel, there are leaf designs in pale yellow gold. This gives an indication of the type of design we would like to apply to our floral overlay.
We require the central design and the floral overlay to be cut out like a lattice.
One panel will consist of the Dalry central design and the floral overlay.
Central design:
We need to be clear and understand which parts of the CAD drawing are metal and which parts are space.
Floral overlay:
In 4 interlacing sections around the circular central design, representing Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter.
Section 1 Spring: fern and snowdrops. Section 2 Summer: rosebay willowherb and bluebells. Section 3 Autumn: brambles and grasses. Section 4 Winter: holly and ivy.
The second panel will consist of the Gorgie central design and the floral overlay.
