We integrate sales data for Retail and Consumer goods companies. That information is un-summarized at store and product level with attributes like region, chain and channel along with strong product hierarchy. We'd like to be able to run that data through a process to arrive at product recommendations for each customer. It would factor in what sells well to the same stores in a chain, same region and need to support a decision tree of Boolean tests on authorization. Our goal is to make a repeatable model for our clients.
Rule-based logic would help identify sales opportunities â like potential voids in chain stores and complementary items like other top energy drink flavors where energy drinks sell well. We plan to start by using beverage (soft drink) data we can provide.
