Upwork is hiring a Full-Stack Developer for Feedback Platform Integration (Slack/Teams) - Contract to Hire

Hi there,

We are looking for a talented and experienced full-stack developer to collaborate on an exciting project aimed at enhancing feedback culture within Slack and Teams. Our goal is to create a psychologically safe environment where employees can provide anonymous feedback and acknowledge positive contributions. Additionally, we plan to implement interactive and anonymous surveys to gain a deeper understanding of team sentiments. The platform will also include an Incognito service to enable anonymous suggestion boxes in Slack and Teams.

Role Requirements:

Full-stack developer skilled in Node.js, Express.js, React, and MongoDB (or equivalent NoSQL databases) with expertise in creating microservices-based architectures.

Prior experience with Slack and Teams API integration will be a strong advantage.

Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure Cloud for hosting services, and Docker/Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.

Strong understanding of security protocols and data privacy measures to safeguard user data.

Knowledge of AI and natural language processing for generating dynamic questions based on user responses.

Ability to optimize application performance for seamless user experience.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with our team to design and develop the user interface and microservices architecture.

Create a seamless user experience by designing intuitive and visually appealing screens.

Implement integration with Slack and Teams APIs for smooth communication with the chatbot.

Develop AI capabilities to generate dynamic questions based on recurrent themes from employee feedback.

Ensure data security and implement content moderation to filter inappropriate responses.

Optimize the application for performance and responsiveness across various devices and browsers.

Provide support for internationalization and localization to support multiple languages and regions.

Conduct thorough testing to validate the user experience and identify potential improvements.
