We are seeking a dedicated Machine Learning Engineer with a background in the retail industry to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your deep understanding of machine learning techniques and data-driven decision-making to influence our retail strategy and implement robust, high-performing predictive models.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models tailored to our specific retail industry needs.
2. Analyze large, complex data sets to extract insights and decide on the appropriate techniques for data analysis.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, formulate, and complete end-to-end analysis that includes data gathering, processing, analysis, and presentation of findings.
4. Assist in setting up a reliable, scalable data processing pipeline and data warehouse to boost our machine learning capabilities.
5. Stay abreast of the latest developments in the field of machine learning and retail analytics.
Requirements:
1. Experience in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
2. Proven experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or similar role.
3. Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in the retail industry, specifically in using data to drive business strategies.
4. Proficiency in machine learning algorithms and concepts (Regression, Clustering, Neural Networks, etc.).
5. Solid programming skills in Python or R.
6. Experience using machine learning libraries/frameworks (such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, Scikit-Learn).
7. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and understanding of data scaling/storage considerations.
8. Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical mindset, and attention to detail.
