I am looking for someone to re-design/optimize our Shopify website for my ecommerce brand.
The brand is in the hat / apparel niche and has some pretty cool hats. We plan on adding more apparel products in the future. I’ve also got many images of our products.
The problem: our current website is pretty bad. It was designed awhile ago, and needs a complete revamp. Starting from scratch. As we specialize in hats, it needs to be cool, modern, FAST, easy to use, and be able to appropriately outline our theme and products.
Critical Project Requirements (Each one is very important):
-a new Modern design for our website, with help of AI to find optimal design
-Be able to show theme/branding effectively
- IMPORTANT: be able to effectively categorize our 70+ hats. These can be divided in several ways, but they need to be easy for the customer to navigate. We need someone who can effectively organize complex collections of products, and knows how to on the backend.
-Website can be optimized for SEO.
-Website must be FAST.
-Design website without downloading multiple Shopify paid apps. Not a fan of tons of paid apps.
-Website optimized for conversion.
-Timely completion. See below.
Using AI:
Since I last had a website built, there has been many breakthroughs in AI. The ideal candidate will be fully versed in AI to help create efficiencies and a great design.
The website modification would need to be modern, clean, flow very well, and have great product listings. We also could use some help making our site faster, for SEO. IMPORTANTLY, the designer needs to be able to effectively organize our 70+ hat product listings.
The ideal candidate will have experience in designing for ecommerce, and know how to build a converting website. They would be very versed in branding, knowing how to add a unique touch of branding to such a website. As such, please send examples of websites you have worked on when applying.
This project will be paid via a ‘milestone’ approach. Also, under no circumstance will I pay the final milestone unless the website is complete and ready to go. The last designer I hired for a website (not this website) quickly demanded payment for each milestones (even though website wasn’t finished) and then took over 6 months to fix any follow up issues they were responsible for. Was very stressful to constantly beg for them to finish the job.
