We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data consultant to advise us for 1 hour in developing a product similar to Carfax, focused on the automotive industry. This role involves extensive data gathering, analysis, and insight development to build a comprehensive and reliable database that will form the backbone of our product.
Key Responsibilities:
-Conduct thorough research to identify and acquire relevant automotive data from various sources.
-Analyze and evaluate the quality, reliability, and relevance of data collected.
-Develop strategies for data acquisition and maintenance, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
-Work closely with the development team to integrate data into the product.
-Provide insights on industry trends, data availability, and data sources.
-Establish relationships with data providers and negotiate access or partnerships.
-Ensure compliance with data privacy and protection laws.
Requirements:
-Proven experience in data research and acquisition, preferably in the automotive industry.
-Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large sets of data.
-Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
-Familiarity with data privacy standards and regulations.
-Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant experience may substitute for educational requirements.
