Project Overview:
Our client aims to implement an Artificial Intelligence (AI) solution to monitor and verify the presence of all necessary parts on a shadow board. A shadow board is a tool used in various industries to organize and manage tools or parts, typically outlined to indicate where each item belongs, facilitating easy identification of missing items.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing an AI-powered system that utilizes computer vision to recognize each part supposed to be on the shadow board and alert if any item is missing. This task involves:
Integrating with Microsoft Technologies: The AI solution must be built on Microsoft's cloud platform, Azure, leveraging its AI and machine learning capabilities, and must integrate seamlessly with Dataverse. The candidate should have a strong background in Microsoft technologies and familiarity with Azure AI tools and services.
Camera Installation and Image Processing: The system will require setting up a camera above the shadow board to take pictures after a worker indicates that they have finished placing all items. The AI then needs to analyze these images, comparing them against a preloaded dataset of images of each part from different angles, to identify missing items.
Alert System: Upon detecting any missing parts, the AI should trigger an alert to notify the relevant personnel. This could involve visual indicators on a user interface, email notifications, or integration with other systems used by the client.
Required Skills and Experience:
Proficiency in AI and machine learning, particularly in computer vision.
Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure, including Azure AI services and Dataverse.
Ability to work with image processing and recognition technologies.
Experience in setting up and integrating camera systems for real-time monitoring.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
