We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Pet Product Researcher to join our team. As a Pet Product Researcher, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth research and analysis on various pet products, including food, toys, accessories, and grooming supplies. Your research findings will be instrumental in the development of new and improved pet products, as well as the enhancement of existing products in our portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive research on pet products, including market trends, consumer preferences, and competitor analysis.
- Identify gaps and opportunities in the pet product market and provide recommendations for product development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and sales, to define product requirements and specifications.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in pet product technology, ingredients, and manufacturing processes.
- Evaluate product performance through testing and customer feedback, and make recommendations for product improvements or modifications.
- Monitor industry regulations and standards related to pet products and ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to source and evaluate potential products.
- Prepare and present reports, with clear and concise findings, to management and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as animal science, veterinary medicine, or product development. A master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in pet product research or related field.
- Strong knowledge of the pet industry, including market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape.
- Excellent research and analytical skills with the ability to gather and interpret data from various sources.
- Familiarity with product development processes and methodologies.
- Passion for pets and a deep understanding of their needs and preferences.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively present research findings and recommendations.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Proficiency in using research tools, databases, and software applications.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
