We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Market Research Assistant to assist with the analysis of qualitative data from book reviews. The primary role will be to code and organize comments based on themes related to customer wishes, obstacles, and desires to help us understand the core needs of our market. This research will help us create our ideal customer avatar. This is an entry-level position that offers the opportunity to develop your research and analytical skills in a practical setting.
Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze book reviews, extracting relevant comments and information.
- Code and categorize comments according to predefined themes such as customer wishes, obstacles, and desires.
- Organize coded data in a systematic manner to facilitate analysis.
- Identify patterns and trends in the data to provide insights into the core needs of the market.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations that summarize research findings.
- Work collaboratively with the research team to support project goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational and data management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic understanding of qualitative research methodologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
