Upwork is hiring a Data gahtering form website into excel

I will provide log-in details for a Mercedes-Benz online parts catalogue.

I will prove a list of 309 different 'Chassis Designation Codes'.

I will provide a sample of data in excel via ONEDRIVE.

The task is to navigate the catalogue for each of the 309 CDC's, capturing data by copy & paste into excel. Details as follows:

Once logged in, use “Specify by model” to enter the 6 digit ‘DESIGNATION’ code from the provided work sheet (example 107041)

In “Main Groups”. Click the drop down and ensure that “sort by number” is selected

Each group has a two digit number followed by a description: (example ’24 Engine Suspension’)



Each Subgroup has a three digit number followed by a description (example ‘005 Design Orientation’)

In each subgroup there is one or more technical drawings followed by a parts list below. Task is to copy and paste the information contained in the parts list and into excel. capturing the names of the group and subgroup. in the format shown in the supplied sample sheet.

(Subgroups can have more than one technical drawing, must capture the parts list from each drawing)

(Subgroups having 5 digit numbers can be ignored, we only need the subgroups that have a 3 digit code)



Copy and paste the parts list as shown above, into excel column E - K

The KEY DATA to be captured is alpha-numerical part numbers in column F



There are 309 chassis designations to go through


Each chassis designation has a different number of technical drawings, but the average is 160 drawings per chassis
