Job Summary:
Our agency (AUQ.IO) is looking for a junior SEO specialist to join the team on a contract or part time basis – it’s a great opportunity for someone who wants to learn more about SEO from a talented full-service team with exposure to all aspects of the SEO process.
Ideal candidate will have some experience with agency related work in the past – it can be paid, content marketing or any other client–facing role. And they are interested in transitioning into an SEO position.
We will teach you our full service approach to SEO and build up your skillset to be a strong SEO specialist.
At first you'll start working on our own website and affiliate sites before transitioning to client work.
Our approach to SEO is that it requires a little bit of all disciplines to work well so our SEO account managers oversee SEO, analytics, design and content work and work with a variety of different teams to put together the final product for the client.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement effective SEO strategies for a portfolio of clients
Conduct keyword research and analysis to identify opportunities for improving search engine rankings and increasing organic traffic
Manage author relationships and schedules for content calendars.
Optimize website content and structure to improve user experience and search engine visibility
Conduct on-page optimization, including title tags, meta descriptions, header tags, and internal linking
Manage off-page optimization strategies, including link building and outreach
Monitor and analyze website traffic and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and search engine algorithms
Manage Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager accounts.
Nice to haves:
2 or more years in client facing roles
Proven track record of improving search engine rankings and driving organic traffic to websites
Experience with WordPress and other content management systems
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment with an international team.
