**Job Brief: Data Analyst for a Vintage Items, Antiques, and Metals Trading Company**
We are a rapidly expanding company specialising in the trading of vintage items, antiques, and metals. We're seeking a seasoned Data Analyst, proficient in Google BigQuery, to join us in a long-term capacity.
**Responsibilities:**
- **Data Mining and Exploration**: We're seeking a data enthusiast who thrives on delving deep into data, extracting valuable insights from our extensive trading activity.
- **Team Collaboration**: The ideal candidate will have a track record of working closely with C-suite executives and team leaders across various functions, assisting in defining and tracking key metrics crucial to our business growth. Your ability to ask insightful questions to understand and determine the metrics that matter will be invaluable.
- **Data Presentation**: Exceptional communication skills are essential. We need someone who can translate complex data into comprehensible information and confidently present findings to both technical and non-technical team members, including C-suite executives.
- **Data Quality Management**: You will be responsible for ensuring data integrity, recommending and implementing efficient data management strategies and initiatives.
**Qualifications:**
- **Experience**: Demonstrable experience in data analytics, specifically with Google BigQuery and SQL. A history of working in support of C-suite teams is mandatory. Further, experience in the following areas will be highly advantageous:
- Involvement in a people-centric operation
- Assisting organisations transition into robotics-driven processes
- Working in a robotics-driven operation
- Managing data in a multi-territory operation
- Involvement in performance marketing initiatives
- Experience with offline/brand marketing and attribution modelling
- **Educational Background**: A degree or equivalent experience in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field is desirable.
- **Communication Skills**: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are a must, particularly the ability to convey complex data insights in a digestible format for all team members.
- **Problem-solving**: Detail-oriented and strong problem-solving abilities are vital. The right candidate will identify patterns and problems and propose effective solutions.
