Freelance Writing about Sustainability - Contract to Hire

I have a great opportunity for people looking to dive deeper into the world of freelance writing and sustainability.

I was once an Upwork freelancer looking to practice my writing skills and see if there was a future in this business, perhaps just like you. I've got good news! That future is brighter than I thought it could be. And now I need some help.

I'm looking to assemble a team of freelance writers that I can give work to as I manage client relationships and focus more on editing and business strategy. Is this something you're interested in? It's an opportunity for continual work with competitive rates and some pretty cool work opportunities.

Now, if you've ever made a job post on Upwork you know that you receive a lot of applications. I want to easily filter out the applicants who aren't serious about this opportunity by providing some specific guidelines.

Follow these steps and there's a pretty good chance you'll hear back from me. In a Microsoft Word document (or some other word processer) please provide the following:

NOTE: You don't have to answer the questions that Upwork asks when applying. I'm only really interested in the attached document.

1) In about 40 words, tell me what interests you about this opportunity.

2) In about 25 words, tell me what your work/study goals are for the next 1-3 years.

3) In about 40 words, tell me what past experience or education makes you qualified for this position.

4) In no more than 50 words, forget about work and tell me about yourself.

5) Finally, in somewhere between 100-250 words, write a mini blog post about the top 3 reasons that businesses should care about sustainability. (Sustainability is a big topic, you can interpret this however you like)

6) OPTIONAL: If you have any published work, please provide me no more than 2 links to samples of your writing

I will be accepting submissions on this for the next two weeks (maybe more) so there's no rush to get it done immediately.

Thanks!
