I am looking for a student or young professional with an interest in materials science, biomaterials, environmental technology, content strategy, research, and writing.
This position involves writing summaries of products and materials for a bio-based materials library. These materials are derived from renewable sources and used in several different industrial and manufacturing applications. This includes bioplastics, renewable chemicals, bio-based building materials and textiles (fibers, composites, etc), and novel feedstocks and raw materials. The purpose of the website/library is to help R&D engineers, investors, and others discover these materials and connect with the companies that make them.
Your job will be to look up the material by visiting the supplier's website (and other relevant articles or online sources) and write a description, highlighting key points such as the renewable basis, applications, supplier information, performance attributes, and sustainability attributes (i.e., biodegradability, household or industrial compostable, etc). Each write-up will be approximately 500 words, more or less. You will have access to a shared sheet with all the materials that you need to research and write about.
I'm looking for someone with a genuine interest in this field and very strong writing and online research abilities. The copy will not be AI produced.
This job is already closed and no longer accepting applicants, sorry.
