We are seeking a talented AI solution provider to develop a robust image tag extraction system for integration into our desktop application. The solution must be capable of accurately extracting tags from images (and possibly videos as well) using AI techniques while ensuring optimal performance on CPU to ensure compatibility across all computers. We are not talking about OCR solutions. What we need is a solution able to understand what's inside an image and return the list of objects. For example, given an image of a person on a beach with palms where you can see the sea and birds, it should return "person, beach, palms, sea, birds, sun" possibly each one with an importance value ranging from 0 to 100.
The ideal solution would be to use LLAVA models. We've already tested them but they are very heavy and require to work on a GPU. On a 2014 MacBook Pro it took 3/4 minutes to process just one image, which is unusable. What we are looking for is a solution that can work on CPU with good performance. If you think you can optimize this models to make them work fast on CPU based computers, the job is yours.
