We are seeking a highly motivated Data Analyst to join our marketing consultancy firm. As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients' marketing strategies by analyzing and interpreting large datasets to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean and analyze large datasets from various sources, including marketing campaigns, customer behavior, market trends and competitive analysis.
- Identify meaningful patterns, trends and correlations in data to provide actionable insights that drive marketing strategy and decision-making.
- Develop visually appealing and easily understandable reports, dashboards and data visualizations to effectively communicate findings to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Evaluate the performance of marketing campaigns by measuring key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
- Utilize statistical techniques to segment customers based on demographics, behavior and preferences, enabling targeted marketing strategies and personalized communication.
- Design and analyze A/B tests to optimize marketing campaigns and website performance, providing recommendations for iterative improvements.
- Conduct market research, including competitor analysis, industry trends and customer surveys, to identify market opportunities and support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of data by implementing quality control processes and data validation techniques.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing managers, strategists and developers, to align data analysis efforts with business objectives and deliver integrated solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in a marketing or consultancy environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Python, R, SQL, and Excel. Experience with visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is desirable.
- Familiarity with statistical techniques, predictive modeling and segmentation methodologies.
- Knowledge of digital marketing platforms and concepts, including Google Analytics, social media analytics, SEO and PPC advertising.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present findings in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
