The family office currently includes a manager of a $500 million hedge fund/private investment firm, a $2.75 billion bank, a $400 million real estate investment firm, and a $225 million charitable foundation.
The Q Family Office in Fort Worth is seeking an experienced researcher to assist the management team in specialized research.
In this role, you will be responsible for original research of an incredibly wide variety of topics and subsequent communication to the company’s management team. Previous research projects have included:
- the detailed summary of the student loan process
- - a comprehensive overview of philanthropy and business course offered at U.S. universities
- research into family genealogy and backgrounds at the request of family members
- calling luxury golf cart dealers around the country to determine sales trends over a period of time,
- identifying the world’s leading experts in many fields including D-Day, Aurora Borealis, Greek history, and brain research.
YOU MUST HAVE RELEVANT EXPERIENCE to qualify for this role.
For example good backgrounds for this role would be:
- investigative journalist, private investigator, archivist,
- forensic scientist, or data scientist
The ideal candidate will have:
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant field.
• A GPA of 3.50 or higher.
• At least 2-5 years of experience working in a comparable role.
• A willingness to commit to a part-time position.
• Experience in Excel, SPSS, or R (preferred by not necessary).
