We are looking for a talented and experienced freelance Data Scientist/Statistical Analyst to help us implement advanced statistical analyses for our health tracking app. The app allows users to log their food intake, symptoms, and health issues, and we need an expert to identify potential food triggers for symptoms based on user data.
Qualifications:
You should be able to...
-Conduct time series analysis to explore temporal patterns between food consumption and symptom occurrence.
-Implement statistical models to identify associations between specific foods and symptoms.
-Perform correlation analysis and regression modeling to quantify the strength of relationships between variables.
-Collaborate with our development team to integrate statistical models into the app's backend.
Requirements:
Strong academic background in data science, statistics, mathematics, or a related field. Master's or Ph.D. preferred.
Proven experience in time series analysis, Bayesian networks, and/or statistical modeling.
Proficiency in Python or R for data manipulation and analysis.
Familiarity with data visualization tools like Matplotlib or ggplot2.
Knowledge of nutrition or health-related domains is a plus.
Experience working to build mobile applications is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Fluency in English
