Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Travel Research Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting in-depth research on various travel requirements including visa procedures, medical requirements, accommodation options, and other travel-related inquiries. This role demands a proactive approach to problem-solving, excellent communication skills, and the willingness to go the extra mile to provide comprehensive solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Visa and Entry Requirements Research:

Investigate and compile detailed information on visa requirements for different countries, including application procedures, processing times, fees, and necessary documentation.

Stay updated on changes in visa policies and advise travelers accordingly.

Medical and Health Research:

Research health and vaccination requirements for various destinations.

Provide information on health advisories, travel vaccinations, and safety precautions.

Accommodation Research:

Identify and evaluate accommodation options based on client preferences, budget, and travel dates.

Assist in booking and confirming accommodations, ensuring they meet client needs and standards.

Additional Travel-Related Research:

Research on local transportation, cultural norms, currency, language, safety tips, and other destination-specific information.

Prepare comprehensive travel itineraries and guides.

Communication and Coordination:

Make phone calls and send emails to embassies, consulates, hotels, travel agencies, and other relevant organizations to gather information or resolve issues.

Act as a liaison between clients and service providers.

Problem Solving and Support:

Provide solutions to travel-related problems and answer client queries promptly.

Offer support and advice to travelers before, during, and after their trip.

Qualifications:

Experience in Tourism, Hospitality, Communications, or a related field.

Proven experience in research and customer service.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proficient in using the internet, email, and office software.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to multitask and handle various projects simultaneously.

Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and manage deadlines.

Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
