Upwork is hiring a Data Science Consultant for Transformer Model Optimization with Computer Vision

Project Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Science Consultant with expertise in transformer models and computer vision to assist in a short project. The project involves optimizing a transformer model for hand gesture recognition, leveraging MediaPipe for hand tracking, and working with TFRecords for efficient data handling. The role is to examine the current notebook and provide advice on how we can achieve better results.

Responsibilities:

- Analyze the existing Notebook which contains the transformer model for hand gesture recognition in the context of computer vision.

- Provide expert advice on the design and optimization of computer vision algorithms and transformer models.

Project Duration:

This is a temporary position expected to last 2 weeks. The consultant will be required to work 1-2 hours per week.
