JOB DESCRIPTION
The EA is the glue that holds the chaos & rapid change together, supporting the Ops Manager to optimize efficiency & scalability of a detail-centric business.
This includes supporting the maximization of time allocation across the team by holding people accountable to their EHV by identifying and taking admin-level EHV items off others' plates.
They are executing a hundred details & moving parts to support a single cohesive operation. Serve as the administrative backbone for the business so that the entire team can drive additional growth, innovation & change without fear of balls being dropped or systems failing. This person works closely with the Ops Manager and CEO of the company to carry the administrative load across sales, marketing, product, and operations.
This remote position is salaried, full-time, with flexible hours. This is a critical position within the business, and as such, we host a rigorous, 3-part application process.
RESPONSIBILITIES (TASKS ASSOCIATED WITH THE ROLE):
- Admin (billing, payroll, expense tracking, scheduling, client communication, data entry)
- Exec assistant (execute tasks as needed, coordinate CEO’s schedule, time blocking, managing CEO’s inbox, arranging work travel plans, special project research)
- Cross-departmental ops support including supporting the Ops Manager in identifying opportunities for taking manual activities off the team's plates and/or automating them entirely
REQUIREMENTS (EXPECTED PROFICIENCIES):
- Level 3 Thinker: systems thinker & critical designer
- Attention to detail, organized, and willing to use systems -- no balls dropped
- Fluent English -- written & verbal communicator, strong & professional copywriter
- Takes initiative, proactive communicator
- High integrity -- Privileged access to sensitive information
- Reliable & consistent: timeliness, punctual, accessible (time zones)
- Comfortable in start-up environment: adaptable, thrives in chaos & change
- Habitual high performer, highly competitive with themselves & delivering their best performance + constant improvement
- Hungry, growth-oriented, and very hard worker
- The best team player able to work with all levels of the company in all departments
- Ability to be online and working during company business hours 9am-1pm MT
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- $2,000 per month
