Upwork is hiring a Hiring at Multiple Levels for an Edtech Company ! - Contract to Hire

Hello everyone,

For an upcoming Edtech company we are going to build a team and hiring at multiple levels. It will be better to read the description carefully and mention specifically what role are you applying for. Also ask questions to get clarity while applying.

Don’t waste your connects. Unfortunately, for this time the office will be located in India, though we expect to expand to Europe, US, Australia and few other countries. So it is preferable that the persons are situated in Calcutta ( Kolkata), or willing to visit kolkata office frequently. People willing to work on marketing can be present anywhere in India. The domains in which people will be hired are:

*Server Management Team ( preferably Amazon AWS , to maintain the online exam workflow ).

*Office Space ( 1 BHK apartment for office use on monthly rental basis, anywhere in Kolkata, preferably within 10 km radius from Kolkata airport, to have the capacity to setup 10 desks at least )

*Software integrable with AWS ( need a software to implement the online exam for example GATE or GRE exam).

*Lawyer ( to deal with legal matters and to advise the team )

*Marketing ( marketing at all levels including digital marketing people to spread the unique features of the exam which will be discussed later among the PhD aspirants in different subjects of science, commerce and humanities)

*Account and Finance ( accountant to manage the budget and it’s distribution on different departments of the company, to receive all the payments from the applicants automated way, to credit the salaries to employees and other necessary financial functions ).

*Website development ( must include online application platform including the payment links )

*Exam centre ( room with capacity to host at least 10 candidates to appear the test for a single setting, must have relatively good quality computers so the exam can run smoothly, invigilator may be arranged by the owner of the centre or can be sent by the company, depending on the quality of the setup necessary hardwares can be arranged by the company itself.).

*all the payment and salary related issues can be discussed after virtual meeting.

We seek the following qualifications irrespective of the degrees if the potential individual thinks that he or she can implement the whole thing are always welcome to send queries.

Expertise include: ( be specific what you can do as there will be a team, so additional persons may be hired so deal with specific shortcomings)

For Server Management team following criteria are applicable

1. Cloud Expertise: Strong understanding of cloud platforms (like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and proficiency in managing cloud-based services.

2.Security Proficiency: Knowledge of cloud security protocols and strategies to ensure data protection and compliance.

3. Technical Acumen: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to cloud infrastructure effectively.

4. Scalability Planning: Experience in designing scalable and efficient cloud solutions to accommodate increasing demand or traffic.

5. Project Management Skills: Capable of overseeing multiple projects, coordinating teams, and meeting deadlines.
