Role: Python Developer – Market Risk
Location: New York City, NY– Hybrid role (2 days onsite)
Duration: 12+ Months
Job Description:
As part of the Risk technology department, the senior developer will take part in local development and integration work, related to the local and global Risk Systems.
Main Responsibilities
• Python developers are responsible for designing and creating the data warehouse and all related extraction, transformation, and load of data functions.
• Lead integration engineer responsible for daily support and project-based development of risk management systems.
Qualifications:
• Experience in financial projects (preferably in the area of Market Risk)
• Need strong Python resources with SQL with Time series or Market risk – Trade floor data engineer.
• Functional expertise in Time series management for Market Risk.
• Strong experience in SQL and database programming (preferably MS SQL Server)
• Experience in Programming languages using Python; Databricks/PySpark.
• Strong testing and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with Jira/Confluence tools and Git change management.
• Experience in AIML (Artificial Intelligence Machine Language) is good to have.
