We are seeking an experienced LLM Data Scientist or Developer with specialized skills in Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to develop a Proof of Concept (PoC) for an innovative AI-backed application designed to revolutionize legal research. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and refining a state-of-the-art system that leverages the power of advanced language models to provide accurate and efficient legal research solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement a robust PoC for an AI legal research tool using LLMs and RAG.
2. Collaborate with legal experts to ensure the tool meets the high accuracy and relevance standards required in legal research.
3. Optimize the retrieval and generation processes to ensure the most relevant legal texts and precedents are identified and presented.
Integrate the latest advancements in NLP, AI, and machine learning to continually enhance the toolâs capabilities.
4. Conduct thorough testing and validation to ensure the toolâs reliability and accuracy.
5. Document the development process and provide regular progress updates.
Qualifications:
1. Advanced degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in working with large language models (such as GPT, Llama, BERT, etc.) and a deep understanding of their underlying mechanisms.
3. Specific experience in Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) or similar techniques.
4. Strong background in NLP and machine learning, with a focus on text processing and generation.
5. Experience in developing AI solutions for legal or similar professional domains.
6. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, and familiarity with AI development tools and frameworks.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with non-technical team members.
Preferred Skills:
1. Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
2. Familiarity with legal databases and legal research tools.
3. Prior experience in developing Proof of Concept (PoC) projects.
4. Publication record in relevant AI/NLP fields.
