Job Description:
We're seeking an experienced Python Developer with expertise in app development, web scraping, natural language processing (NLP), and machine learning to contribute to the development of an MVP for a Christian spiritual growth platform.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with app development and various technical needs of the platform
- Collaborate iteratively with the development team
- Regularly commit code to a shared repository and provide timely progress updates, showcasing your commitment to iterative and transparent development.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience as a Python App Developer, with a strong focus on rapid prototyping, machine learning, and natural language processing.
- Familiarity with micro web app libraries or frameworks like Streamlit, Gradio, Flask, or FastAPI.
- Experience working with various NLP, ML, and LLM libraries via Python
- Proficiency with version control systems, especially Git & GitHub.
- Experience in a collaborative work environment with a track record of regular progress sharing through code commits and project updates.
- Comfort with transparency and iterative development is crucial.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively, preferably using communication tools like Slack.
- Excellent written English communication skills.
- While not a requirement, familiarity with or interest in the Christian faith can be beneficial as it can help in understanding the context and goals of our platform. We highly value candidates who can demonstrate such alignment with our mission.
Experience Level: Intermediate to Expert
Project Duration: 6-10 weeks
