We are looking for a talented and self-motivated Data Engineer who can succeed in a collaborative work environment. The ideal candidate should have experience developing pipelines between relational databases containing health records and data scientists developing predictive models. Additionally, experience with data science, clinical data, and health information technology would be beneficial. The candidate will be responsible for the entire pipeline for one or more large multi-site research projects; software architecture for informatics intervention studies; and performing data science analyses using advanced mathematical and statistical modeling, including machine learning methods. The ideal candidate will have professional experience in a number of programming languages, databases, and development environments. The candidate should be able to contribute to improving the reliability and quality of data and have experience working with clinical data and clinical vocabularies. The successful candidate will contribute to the development and evaluation of data science models and informatics interventions, including open source solutions, together with a community of international researchers.
