Upwork is hiring a Personal Assistant | Virtual Assistant | Small Business Assistant | Researcher

I need a virtual assistance to mainly help me with research related tasks that can be summarised into documents and excel sheets.

These tasks will be a mixture of personal tasks (such as researching events) for the next few weeks. But will afterwards be mostly business related (such as quick budgeting, quick documents organising, simple lead generation, etc..)

For the first task that I urgently need:

I need you to create an excel sheet with 10 hackathons and 10 technical conferences. I already started doing that here, but I don't have time to finish it

For hackathons, I want them to be ideally remote, if in person, then in London is fine, otherwise let's exclude others for now. minimum of 2 weeks away from the current date and maximum 3 months away. Ideally 2-6 weeks away.

For the type and style of hackathons I am looking for:

Theme: Something that seems more university-related but I can still apply to. I am a software engineer working in industry to also check if any hackathon mentions "you have to be a student", don't include it. A hackathon that doesn't seem too big / too international / difficult to win. You can judge that by its prize pool if it exists, for example something like 100,000$ is too big, something like 1,000-10,000$ is okay. This might be a bit difficult to judge so just use your best judgement and I will assess later.

For conferences, if you can find remote that would be good, but all of them are pretty much in real-life. As for theme, try as much as you can to find something that I can get accepted in. For more info about me, I have 3 years of experience as a software engineer, I currently work in Fintech (so Fintech conferences might be a good theme). You can also have a quick look at speakers, if they all look like CEOs / very senior people then probably not a good fit. The location for the conference ideally should be in the UK, but Europe is also fine. As for dates, the sooner the conference is the better. I want most of them to be within the next 3-6 months and maybe a minority in the next 6-12 months. AI conferences might be a good theme for me too or bioinformatics.

For each event (20 total events, 10 hackathons and 10 conferences), I want you to include:

- The type of the event (conference/hackathon)

- Any appllication deadlines

- A link showing where I can apply

- Location (remote, or if in person)

Please don't include the same conferences and hackathons that I already have in that excel sheet, this is very important. You can have a quick look at them as examples to understand what I am looking for.

The end goal here is to probably find around 30 hackathons and 30 conferences. But let's start with 10 and 10 and go from there
