We are looking for a diligent and detail-oriented individual to manage and maintain the sports product section (focusing on shoes and bags) of our website. This role involves working with a Google Sheets database and requires a combination of accuracy, creativity, and web-savvy skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Database Management:
Regularly add new products to our Google Sheets database in a set format.
Ensure accurate and complete product information by researching and compiling data from various online sources.
Exercise judgment and common sense to fill in missing information as needed.
Product Status Monitoring:
Continuously monitor our product lineup for changes, especially discontinued items.
Update the database status for each product (e.g., "current" or "discontinued").
Image Processing and Management:
Download product images, convert them to JPG format, and upload them to a designated Google Drive folder.
Maintain a consistent filename format for all images.
Link Management:
Create and manage 5 geographical-specific links (USA, Canada, Australia, UK, Europe) for each product for georedirect purposes on our website.
Time Commitment:
Approximately 2-3 hours per week. This is not a full-time position but is ideal for someone seeking a regular, part-time engagement.
Ideal Candidate:
Proficient in using Google Sheets and Google Drive.
Capable of conducting thorough online research.
Attentive to details, especially in data entry and image management.
Able to work independently and make informed decisions when information is incomplete.
Experience in e-commerce or product management is a plus but not required.
