Hi! We’re a group of engineers who built Jan, a personal desktop AI that works 100% offline and privately. We started out as an open source tool, but have decided to work on it as a product.

We're looking for a Technical Writer consultant. Our product has been growing by word-of-mouth, and we're swamped with bugs and are falling behind on docs. Most of our team are also not native English speakers, and we struggle with articulating ideas clearly.
How we'll work:
- We're open to you guiding us.
- Our naive idea: we have a few "braindump" sessions with you
- You'll need to also be able to look through the Javascript codebase to find answers
- You'll need to think critically and challenge us on structure (you are the expert)
We're an open source project, so you'll be committing to repo directly. We use Docusaurus, so it's Markdown.
