Highlight is an AI-powered platform designed to assist job seekers in preparing for interviews. It offers a simulated, interactive interview environment tailored to the user's desired industry and role. By mimicking real-life interview scenarios, Highlight helps users refine their responses, improve body language, and build confidence. Post-interview, the AI provides summary and detailed feedback on performance, highlighting strengths and areas for improvement.
Beyond just mock interviews, Highlight will also offers learning resources, community engagement, and challenges to keep users engaged and continually improving. For those on the job hunt, Highlight will be the go-to tool to ensure they're fully prepped and ready to impress potential employers.
The initial proof of concept would involve tuning a foundation model like GPT-4 or using the new GPTs feature from OpenAI to generate a meaningful simulated Q&A experience with feedback for a single role.
I have over 100 recruiters, hiring managers, and panel interviewers willing to help provide questions, answers, context, and do evaluations on model outputs.
The goal is to develop a strongly opinionated model that delivers meaningful value in the form of feedback on the interviewers mock interview performance.
I'll likely raise some venture funding in the near future once we have a proof of concept. There could be an opportunity to join the team full time.
