This is a trial run project that can expand to an ongoing relationship to manage more accounts once it's clear you grasp the core problem and can manage Google Ads.
Need someone that is an expert in Google Ads E-Commerce well beyond just creating Pmax asset groups and crossing your fingers you added a enough signals for the system blindly figure it out. If that's your bread and butter, this is not the right job to apply for. This role needs to be dynamic as the platform changes.
The account is a complex B2B account with 12 different industries that it is targeting with thousands of products. Because of the specificity and timing nature of the business search has to be the core piece of the account. The purchases tend to be around $1,000 AOV. Because of the higher AOV there are hundreds of different conversion paths. Only 1/3 of conversions are 1 click punch in, but on average takes multiple touch points to convert, which make attribution complicated and beyond just Google told me the ROAS is this based on their data driven attribution. So a first a click might only show $500 in purchase value in Google Ads while organic got the rest of the attribution, but in reality that first click was a $12,000 sale in the end. So what was a negative ROAS after a few week test with no conversions was the catalyst to an amazing first click ROAS after multiple touch points and 40 days.
Because of that, data driven and last click ROAS are not a good measure. Google Ads or analytics data driven is not an accurate judge of where things are at. I need someone that can use metrics like MER along with digging into GA4 to say new customers should be coming in here, and when we spend there we should be able to grow the top line sales.
When applying please include "can't use Google Ads ROAS" in your application so I know that you read this far and understand what the problem is. Also, please no agencies.
The account currently has mostly Pmax campaigns with newer shopping campaigns, but that is causing scaling issues with lack of campaign control, lack of data do to specificity of campaigns for Pmax, and attribution issues where Pmax steals a user between campaigns and says it got 1 click 1 sale amazing sniping ability on large items when another campaign was hyper focused on that niche and got zero credit.
This job is already closed and no longer accepting applicants, sorry.
