Upwork is hiring a Children Animation Book Illustrator - Contract to Hire

We are an Education company based out of California USA. We currently have an opening on our team for a Children Animation Book Illustrator position with a focus on end to end children’s animation Booking creation. This position is a part time position that requires 20 hours a week.

Currently we expect the below scope and responsibilities for this position.

Primary tasks

- Using AI content generating tools and post editing tools, create Children’s animation books. Target audience are children between 2-5 years old.

- Each book should have:

- Original story lines that takes 2-3 minutes to read

- 20-30 pages of illustrations with simple animation

- IA generated voice over and sound effects

- Background musics, need to make sure it’s patent free

- Detailed description of the book

Experience and Requirements:

- Exceptional working ethical

- Advanced experience in using AI content generating tools, including ChatGPT, Midjourney, Canvr, Capcut, and Elevenlabs

- Excellent written English

- Reliable and dedicated working space, and have a computer with high speed Internet

- Accounts with major AI creation tools like Midjourney, Elevenlab, ChatGPT, and Canva

- Passionate about children education, design, and AI technology

Ebook & audiobook creation and publishing experience are a plus

Expectations:

- 10 high quality books per week, with average 2 hours per book creation.

- You do NOT need to work during U.S. hours. You can work during your local time.

- Once a week we will also set up a Google meeting to

- review your work for the week;

- plan your upcoming week;

- discuss any learnings or challenges that you are facing

- We will expect you to communicate daily via email, including detailed time log on how you spend the time during the day, completed tasks this week, to-be-completed tasks comparing to the weekly plan, and any risk to achieve the weekly goals

Compensation:

$5 US dollars per hours, paid every two weeks
