Developer Role
We are seeking a developer to help with two major projects. The ideal candidate should have experience in developing web scraping code and machine learning algorithms. They should also be a good team member, excellent communicator, and problem-solver. They will contribute directly to our goal of making green careers more accessible.
Key Activities Potentially Include:
- Web scraping for specific information about job training requirements.
- Working on Sagemaker on AWS.
- Developing machine learning code to aid in our product development.
- Using previously developed machine learning code to help with client deliverables.
- Checking others' code for efficiency.
- Collaborating with team members to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Python, AWS Sagemaker, and web scraping tools.
- Experience working with Google Drive and Trello.
- Dataset management.
- Research experience.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- A background in science, economics, or STEM is preferred.
