Blog Post Writer for Home Services Industry - AI Assistance encouraged

We are looking for someone who can write and edit blogs for client websites in the home services space (HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Roofing...) to promote brands, industry and ongoing information. The ideal candidate should have experience in blog concepting, writing & publishing and have a good understanding of different channels & platforms. We are open to working with Artificial Intelligence creation/assistance and are open to pitches that involve AI in the content creation and SEO process.

The responsibilities include publishing articles on websites & blogs, to increase brand engagement & awareness and promote the company’s services. The freelancer should also be able to optimize the article for search engines.

Good communication skills and knowledge of current marketing trends are required.

In this role you will focus on creating unique content and publish ongoing blogs for clients using writing & editing skills and industry knowledge. AI use & coordination experience with ChatGPT & Bard is expected for initial ideation, creation and organization. From there, editing is required to make sure the content is accurate, engaging and makes sense from an industry standpoint.

Desired Skills and Experience:

Writing and Editing copy for client blogs and ongoing content with care and attention to detail so that it adheres to the iMarket Content Style Guide, SEO best practices, and client brand guidelines

Knowledge and experience using AI as an idea/topic generator and first draft resource and then edit to brand, industry & best practice specs.

Knowledge of Home Service verticals - HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, and Roofing - is a bonus

Completing all assigned tasks on time and at the highest quality

Report all relevant information, reports and data to the Content Manager and all identified Stakeholders as required.

Keep track of and assure compliance with all data privacy and rules related to iMarket business.
